Izabela Szlachta-Dowgiałło and Olena Lechowicz have collaborated within the Duo Eufonico formation since 2013. They have been finalists at the First Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music in Rzeszów (2019), first prize winners at the Eighth International Master Competition for Music Teachers in Warsaw (2020) and winners of two scholarship programmes granted by the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport. The duo’s repertoire spans the works of the classical era and contemporary times with the emphasis on the unfamiliar music by Polish composers and by female composers. Izabela Szlachta-Dowgiałło graduated with honours from the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, where she studied with Robert Kabara. She has had a doctor of musical arts degree since 2013. She has given concerts in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Croatia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Serbia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Poland, Italy and Hungary. She has perfected her musical skills at master classes conducted in Łańcut, Goch, Żagań, Frombork and Włodawa. Olena Lechowicz graduated cum laude from the Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko in Lviv, where she studied with Lidia Krykh. She has won competitions in such places as Mariupol and Lviv, and she has received a number of honourable mentions for her accompaniment. She has appeared several times as a soloist performing with the Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Philharmonic, and as a chamber musician working in collaboration with Lidia Futorska, Andriy Karpiak, Dorota Boruch-Żołnacz, Magdalena Jakubska-Szymiec, Jerzy Antonik and other artists.
