The primary objective of the Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music is to promote Polish music worldwide and disseminate the wonderful legacy of Stanisław Moniuszko and other excellent Polish composers amongst a wide spectrum of listeners.

Artists from three continents will perform during the 2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music

June 14, 2021 saw the meeting of the Qualification Committee of the 2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music. Ten pianists and twenty chamber music ensembles from Poland and six other countries qualified for the Competition.

Announcement of an amendment to the rulebook 2

Due to the protracted epidemic situation and the resulting current restrictions the National Institute of Music and Dance, as the organizer of the 2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music, pursuant to section 52 of the Rulebook of the Competition, hereby informs that the deadline for announcing the results of regular call for applications has been extended to 17 June 2021.

Results of the national preliminary round for the 2nd International Competition of Polish Music

On May 4-5, Warsaw hosted the national preliminary round for the 2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music for contestants with Polish citizenship or holders of a Polish Ethnicity Card, regardless of their current place of residence.
